Microsoft has stated that Windows Mobile a growth of at least 50 percent by 2008


Microsoft has stated that Windows Mobile a growth of at least 50 percent by 2008 and will make in 2009. This would be according to the company by the increased demand for smartphones. The growth forecast has come out with Eddie Wu, managing director at Microsoft embedded devices, in an interview with Reuters.
Windows Mobile 2008 and 2009 would be a big growth of at least 50 percent due to make. This statement comes from Eddie Wu, managing director of embedded devices in Asia. The growth was fueled by strong demand for smartphones. According to Wu, the company 20 million Windows Mobile licenses sold to its partners throughout the 2007/2008 fiscal year ends in June. In the coming fiscal year 2008/2009 that number will be around 30 million should be. Currently, Microsoft Windows Mobile VWB mainly on European and U.S. markets but the company sees growth opportunities in Asia, the Middle East, Brazil, Russia and India.
Analysts say the (expected) growth is a drop in the ocean because the Symbian operating system is still far up as the market leader in operating systems for smartphones. By contrast, Microsoft is one of the few mobile systems that touch a good platform that helps them to grow in the Smartphone market. Microsoft knows more manufacturers to bind as the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 . 

Microsoft said in an earlier interview with Reuters that the company this year will introduce a full web browser, as Apple currently provides windfalls on the iPhone.
