All manufacturers of the good list - also Nokia - could increase the number of the devices in the comparison to the prior year quarters, sold in each case, the growth rates are however very different: While of Nokia could Smartphone sales figures only by 12,6 per cent on 24.2 million devices grow, Apple added iPhones equal around 114,4 per cent on 18.7 million. However Android Smartphones for itself can book largest growth: Samsung and HTC may be pleased about growth rates of 350 and 229,6 per cent, which are to due probably primarily to the devices with Googles mobile operating system.
According to IDC Apple could increase the iPhone sales figures before all into China and the USA. In of Apple homeland the enterprise profited particularly by the introduction iPhone 4 with the mobile network operator Verizon Wireless, after Apple Smartphones was available over AT&T in the years before only. The decrease of the Nokia market share continues the trend of the last years: Once held the Finnish enterprise with its Symbian OS nearly the position of a monopolist, for the competition by Apple and googles could Nokia then oppose however little.
