Android pulls in the USA to iPhone OS past

Android gains inexorably market shares, iPhone stagnated, Backberry loses, however still lies in front. Thus the recent development on the US-Smartphone-market can be summarized.

The US market research firm NPD Group evaluated the sales figures with Smartphones, which were sold in the USA in first quarter the 2010 at private customers, (Smartphones, which were purchased by enterprises, did not find entrance into the evaluation). The result might accelerate the Android fan club.
Therefore everything from January ran to March 2010 sold to Smartphones an Android operating system on 28 per cent. At the end of of 2009 amounted to the market share of Android still 20 per cent.
Apple of iPhones OS had a market share of 21 per cent in the first quarter 2010. That was approximately the same value as at the end of of 2009, thus iPhone and Android still head at head lay.
Unquestioned at the point Research in Motion with Blackberry the OS in the USA, which runs on 36 per cent of all Smartphones still, lies, which were sold in the first quarter of 2010. However the market share of Blackberry sinks with the Smartphone operating systems, which stagnates of iPhone OS, only Android constantly grows constantly.
Windows Mobile loses likewise continuously and lies now only with scarcely over ten per cent market share. Palms WebOS dümpelt with around the 1 per cent.
Androids strong growth and of Blackberry strong position are still based partly on various marketing and sales measures of the portable radio providers, as the NPD Group describes its numbers. Thus for example Verizon Wireless gave still another second to each buyer of a Smartphones in addition. Besides in the USA the Droid, Droid Eris and Blackberry Curve were particularly applied.
