In the first quarter 2009 the sales figures shrank by 8,6 per cent in the comparison to the previous year. From the further numbers, which the market research firm Gartner submitted on today's Wednesday, winner and losers let themselves be read off. While the heavyweight Nokia of far feathers/springs must leave and the downtrend at Motorola and Sony Ericsson continue, Samsung and Apple could improve their positions clearly

With the Smartphones iPhone its market share in the comparison between years could doubling more than. Apple sold in the first quarter of the yearly 3.9 million devices, in the prior year quarters was it 1.7 million.
